I started as an intern, while still in college, and have since been promoted to more senior roles across corporate finance. When I joined American Tower as a Senior Internal Auditor, I only had experience in finance and operational roles. Over time, I grew increasingly interested in Information Technology (IT) and was encouraged to pursue a new position, even though my skill set wasn’t a perfect match. The support and time provided to learn and grow in my new role, and ultimately take on a more senior opportunity, were exceptional. Prior to that, I had long wanted to enlist in the U.S. Army National Guard. After being with the company for over a year, I did, and my management team has been nothing but supportive.
